Jubilate Deo (for choir and organ with optional brass)

Jubilate Deo was originally written for a production of Shakespeare's Henry VIII at the Chichester Festival Theatre, accompanying the Christening and Coronation Scenes. Originally recorded in Chichester Cathedral where the building's wonderful acoustic was ideal for evoking a grand Tudor ceremony, it was subsequently featured on the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's album The Food of Love. Even with more modest forces it will be helpful to imagine this majestic sound and atmosphere in staging your own performance. Available digitally and as a printed score.
